A lot of people know this, but YouTube Shorts is the new feature on YouTube, where there are shorter videos, kind of like TikTok videos.
And the most what’s great about YouTube Shorts is that you can rank them much quicker compared to regular YouTube videos.
So of course, YouTube videos, ranking for different keywords, like for example, how to buy Bitcoin, how to buy crypto, how to buy dogecoin.
So if you’re in the crypto niche, you can make videos and tutorials on those different keywords and try to get your video ranked.
But another thing you can do that has way less competition, especially if you’re a brand-new channel is doing that same thing, trying to rank for those keywords but using YouTube shorts for it.
So, if you type in “how to buy Bitcoin”, and I just search this up, you’ll see, the first videos are just normal YouTube videos but as you scroll down, you’ll see there’s a short section.
And as you can see, there are YouTube shorts ranking for this specific search result.
So, what’s cool about this is a lot of the bigger channels that can rank for these competitive keywords, where they’re making regular YouTube videos and they’re getting 10,000 views because they already have a bunch of subscribers, usually those channels are not making shorts.
And this is a big opportunity for affiliate marketers because you could be the one that comes in and start posting YouTube shorts for specific keywords that you’re trying to rank for.
Anything you search on YouTube now, there’s going to be a short section.
So, you can rank these YouTube shorts on different keywords and it’s going to be a lot easier to get your channel some traction, and eventually, you can transition into making regular videos and then keep on making shorts for the different keywords that you want to rank on for whatever product you’re promoting as an affiliate.

This isn’t just TikTok videos, but it’s actually going live on TikTok. So, we all know TikTok is one of the best and fastest ways to get traffic right now.
The only problem with TikTok and this isn’t true all the time, but typically leads are lower quality. They won’t convert as high as a YouTube channel.
So, for example, if I get 100 leads on YouTube versus 100 leads on TikTok, the 100 leads on YouTube are going to make me way more money.

So, what you can do is you can actually go live on TikTok, and this is where you can start to interact with your audience, the people watching your videos.
You only get a few seconds to talk to them about your offer but if you go live with them, the people who regularly watch your videos, the people who follow you, they’re going to get notified and tune into your live and they’re going to start asking you questions.
