kartra

Kartra is an all-in-one digital marketing platform that is meant for entrepreneurs as well as business owners in mind. It comes with different tools that assist you with:

  • Building sales funnels
  • Running email marketing campaigns
  • Managing clients
  • Setting up an affiliate program
  • Building membership sites
  • Scheduling appointments

And more.

Most importantly, Kartra provides you with a powerful CRM system that is comparable with enterprise-level CRM platforms that we’ll cover later.

It gives you features to easily provide an eye-pleasing view of all the sales pipelines for easy tracking and management of leads through your qualification process.

Kartra CRM analytics

With Kartra CRM, you can learn the behavioral patterns of your early users, how they land on your site, at what point they exit, which link they click, and how they transition from the moment they sign up to the point of checkout, which gives you valuable insight on how to make your campaigns.

Kartra’s automated lead scoring will automatically add points scores to every interaction a lead or customer has with your emails, web pages, membership areas, help, desk, videos, and product checkouts.

When it comes to email marketing automation capabilities, Kartra’s marketing automation is comparable with dedicated email marketing platforms like GetReponse of Aweber.

kartra email advanced automation

You can trigger Kartra automations based on a lead reaching a certain score or based on a tag that they’ve been given.

Other Kartra digital marketing tools include:

  • Video hosting
  • Helpdesk
  • Checkout
  • Booking calendar
  • Analytics

And more.

But what makes Kartra stand out among other GoHighlevel alternatives is the Kartra Campaigns.

This feature allows you just with the click of a button, deploy these done-for-you campaigns into your account and have all of these pages, design, and email campaigns already set up for you.

kartra campaigns

Kartra Campaigns is very similar to GoHighLevel Snapshots.

And for all of the marketing agency owners out there, Kartra also has got you covered.

With the Kartra Agency feature, you have full control over your clients. You can give clients access to their accounts based on what they need, or you can choose not to give them any access at all.

That means no more worrying about your clients making unknown changes, locking you out of your account, or messing with the process.

kartra agency

With the Agency analytics dashboard, you’ll be able to share stats with them so they always know things that keep them satisfied.

This dashboard gives you a quick look at each client’s analytics, such as:

  • Revenue
  • Generated sales
  • Rebills
  • New clues

And most importantly, you didn’t have to sign in and out of each account.

But Kartra Agency isn’t just about making access easier and giving you a single view. It gives you the freedom to choose the business model for your agency that works best for your operations.

In the first agency model, you are the account owner, which gives you the power to manage and sublease your clients’ accounts. This lets you buy accounts at a 40% discount and charge what you want for them.

You can control your client’s access, negotiate retainers, freeze accounts if necessary, and charge based on the services you provide, whether you’re designing an entire marketing campaign or just a single webpage.

On the other hand, the second agency model puts you in the role of a service provider. With this option, you can link your agency account to your clients’ existing Kartra accounts and manage them on their behalf. You just talk to your clients about a service fee and do the work for that amount.

Kartra Agency also has strong reporting tools. You can make detailed reports about how your clients’ businesses are doing and send them to them on a regular, agreed-upon schedule.

Lastly, the Kartra Agency white label option gives you a unique branding opportunity where you can add your agency’s logo boosting your visibility and recognition.

It is a perfect alternative to GoHighLevel. email marketing systems, CRMs, membership sites, and so on. You do not need to buy these individual tools and it saves you plenty of money in the process as it certainly does for us.

Kartra Pricing

  • Starter plan – $99/month
  • Silver plan – $199/month

6. HubSpot

hubspot

HubSpot is a very well-known CRM and marketing automation platform in the industry and is generally really massive.

It can be a little hard to navigate, especially for new users and startups, which are already typically busy and don’t have the time to really learn all there is to know about CRM.

Diving into the benefits, you can easily manage your workflows with an improved project management view. You can assign and track leads, keep an eye on them through the entire sales process and record customer interactions across multiple channels.

This is a really in-depth version of tracking your workflow through the entire sales process, as well as even passing the sales process to them actually using the product or service. And this is really nice if you’re looking for a CRM that really captures that whole life cycle.

HubSpot for startups is a program that offers a discount of up to 90% for eligible startup ventures, with tailored training and support for startup-friendly onboarding.

HubSpot for startups program does have some requirements that you need to meet and so if you’re a basic startup, that’s not venture-funded or has a lot of funding, you may not actually be able to apply or get accepted necessarily to the HubSpot startup program, but it is definitely worth a shot.

HubSpot works with both the G-Suite and Microsoft Office so whichever platform your business prefers to run, it will run without any problems.

Zapier integration makes it easy to share information across your apps. Zapier has a ton of different integrations with many different platforms and HubSpot, fully supports Zapier to extend your functionality and help your company’s growing operations.

HubSpot CRM is free so you can get started without overhead, while paid add-on packages for HubSpot pile on features like recording AI and advanced automation.

So, they do have some really cool in-depth features but you will have to pay for them.

Going into drawbacks, customization options are limited, which could be an issue for very niche businesses and agencies.

The customization options are definitely lacking compared to GoHighLevel or other platforms on this list.

But it definitely does have a lot of features and so it usually doesn’t need as many customization features as something as some of the other CRMs.

The basic no-cost CRM features there are many them but they are pretty basic.

For a lot of the advanced features and functionality like I talked about earlier, they will be paid add-on packages and so that can be viewed as the free version of the CRM has a lot of these basic features.

So you will get that free plan upfront, but you’re really going to have to be paying for a lot of those advanced features so it’s easier to think of HubSpot as a paid CRM.

Pricing-wise, HubSpot CRM is free and the number of users is unlimited. So, no matter how big your company is, if you want to use the basics of HubSpot, you are totally able to, and it’s completely free.

The marketing hub, sales hub, and service hub add-on packages are $50 each per user per month billed monthly.

So, compared to GoHighLevel pricing plans, where you can have unlimited users with no additional costs, HubSpot is way more expensive.

And these are pretty big customer service hubs. They have a lot of features in them and so you’re generally going to want to use them, and that puts HubSpot at a much more expensive price as compared to other CRMs.

There are no free trials for the add-on packages so if you want to test them out, you will definitely have to purchase the first month.

HubSpot Pricing

  • Free CRM: HubSpot’s basic CRM platform is free with no time limit. It includes features such as contact management, deal tracking, and lead capture forms
  • Marketing Hub: HubSpot’s Marketing Hub offers four pricing plans: Free, Starter ($20/month), Professional ($400-$890/month), and Enterprise ($1200-$3600/month)
  • Sales Hub: HubSpot’s Sales Hub offers four pricing plans: Free, Starter ($45/month), Professional ($450-$1200/month), and Enterprise (custom pricing
  • Service Hub: HubSpot’s Service Hub offers four pricing plans: Free, Starter ($20/month), Professional ($400-$1280/month), and Enterprise (custom pricing)

7. Builderall

builderall

And so much more.

funnel club

Inside Funnel Club, you’ll find templates for every case scenario, including templates for agencies to help you generate leads for your business.

8. Pipedrive

pipedrive

Pipedrive is a true sales CRM system. That’s what it was created for, and it’s quite popular. In fact, they have stated that 90,000 companies have used it

Pipedrive co-founders were salespeople who needed more from a CRM tool than what was available, so they created an intuitive, visual sales platform to help users streamline their processes and accomplish more.

And a lot of the stuff works the same. Essentially, you can tag clients and so forth with certain features, and based on actions they take, it’ll go to different places.

The Pipedrive lead scoring software lets you measure customer purchase intent with form data analysis and prioritize outreach efforts accordingly.

But the thing that sets Pipedrive apart from its competitors and this might sound cliche is that it is very simple and easy to use compared to other platforms.

And they have a good rate of development. They come out with new features pretty often which is really nice to see. It’s nice to be using a CRM that’s constantly improving, constantly getting better and better and more capable.

Pipedrive Pricing

Pipedrive offers the following monthly pricing plans;

  • Essential plan for $12.50,
  • Advanced plan for $24.90
  • Professional plan $49.90
  • Enterprise plan $99.00

9. Systeme.io

systeme.io

Systeme.io is an all-in-one digital marketing platform similar to GoHighLevel. It has handy tools like a drag-and-drop website and funnel builder, email marketing automation, and membership site creation. This makes it a solid free alternative to GoHighLevel.

When it comes to marketing automation, Systeme.io doesn’t have as robust capabilities as GoHighLevel, not to mention Kartra or ActiveCampaign.

Systeme.io doesn’t offer a white-label or agency option either. But it does have an online course platform, webinar tool, and a completely free plan.

For beginner online entrepreneurs just getting started, Systeme.io is a great solution. It has all the core tools you need without advanced marketing automation features.

Systeme.io is also a reasonably priced option if you want an all-in-one solution on a budget.

In summary, Systeme.io covers the basics for new online businesses without the complexity or price tag of tools like GoHighLevel. Its balance of essentials tools and affordability make it a solid starting choice.

11. Zoho CRM

Zoho CRM is easy to use, with simple user interfaces targeted at startups and small businesses.

It includes customizable modules, automation, and social media features, which allow you to create the perfect environment no matter what your life cycle looks like for managing your customers and leads.

Zoho CRM

It allows you to define your own workflows and rationalize everyday tasks, as well as manage leads in many of their customizable modules, whether you’re creating new forms or building new sales pipelines, Zoho CRM basically allows you to customize the entirety of the CRM application.

The data porting feature allows you to quickly migrate your data from spreadsheets and contact management software to the Zoho platform, making implementation pretty straightforward.

It integrates with Twitter, Facebook, and Google Plus for reaching out and engaging with leads quickly at just the right time.

There’s a free CRM for up to three users, which is great news for super-lean startups.

Although, as one might expect, it has somewhat limited features with less customizability and no mass emailing feature.

Some of the drawbacks, Zoho lacks individual email tracking and individual lead notification, which can be limiting if you rely heavily on one-on-one engagement.

This is the opposite end of the spectrum as compared to Close.com, which is focused directly on individual sales leads.

Zoho CRM is more apt to track the entirety of the life cycle of many different customers and many different leads.

The add-on modules are priced on top of the existing CRM product you purchase so costs can add up when you want to expand your use of the platform.

Zoho has a suite of different tools, whether you’re looking for invoicing or emailing or document signing or anything really that you need.

They have applications to do so, but they are all paid on top of the CRM, they’re not included with the CRM.

They also have an all-in-one solution called Zoho One, which includes this CRM and all of these other products if you so choose.

There is a free trial available for both the standard and enterprise versions so if you want to give it a shot, you can go right ahead.

Zoho Pricing

  • Free Plan – Zoho CRM offers a free plan that supports up to three users and includes basic features like leads, documents, and mobile apps
  • Standard Plan – $18 per user per month on a month-to-month basis or $12 per user per month when billed annually. This plan includes features such as scoring rules, workflows, multiple pipelines, mass email, and custom dashboards
  • Professional Plan – $30 per user per month on a monthly plan or $20 per user per month when billed annually. This plan includes all the features of the Standard plan, plus additional features such as sales forecasting, territory management, and advanced customization
  • Enterprise Plan – $50 per user per month on a month-to-month basis or $40 per user per month when billed annually. This plan includes all the features of the Professional plan, plus advanced automation features, custom modules, and advanced analytics
  • Ultimate Plan – $52 per user per month on a month-to-month basis or $45 per user per month when billed annually. This plan includes all the features of the Enterprise plan, plus additional features such as advanced CRM analytics, custom functions, and enhanced storage

12. Close.com

close.com

The next software we’re going to take a look at is Close.com or, previously, Close.io. Close.com is a pretty good CRM for lead management and collecting leads.

If you’ve used it before and rather than what you would consider a full-fledged CRM, Close.com really specializes in the outreach portion of a CRM, so getting leads, setting up email sequences, and really just reaching out to contacts to get them to buy your product.

Close.com is very startup-friendly; the CRM provides a pipeline for viewing voice calls, SMS, reporting, email marketing, and video calls

And features, email sequencing, all in one place, so pretty much all the features that you can find inside GoHighLevel.

It’s really easy to get to any of those features and functionality.

They do support prerecorded voicemail, which is obviously a time-saving feature for sales reps in a predictive dialing feature that allows you to autodial multiple numbers to improve your sales agent productivity.

This CRM is really good when you have sales reps or other people that are selling your product and trying to reach out to a larger contact list or if even you yourself, you’re building a contact list and you’re really trying to outreach to those contacts and get them to buy your product.

It does have a lot of useful integrations with other platforms, including:

  • MailChimp
  • Slack
  • Zendesk
  • Google Sheets
  • Facebook
  • Zapier

And Zapier is, obviously, an API that can connect you to many different platforms.

Some of the drawbacks you’re going to find are that bulk data importing of CSV files will often produce duplicate leads and requires you to do some manual cleanup.

So, importing large contact lists can sometimes be a little bit more problematic.

But I highly recommend it if you are looking for a CRM that’s primarily geared towards outreach and contacting leads.

Close.com Pricing

  • Starter $29/month
  • Basic $69/month
  • Professional $99/month
  • Business $149/month

13. Agile CRM

Agile CRM

Agile CRM is a much more flushed-out CRM that will allow you to manage your customers within the full life cycle of reaching out and having them buy your product all the way through support if that’s what you’re looking for.

Diving into the benefits of Agile CRM, Agile CRM offers a free full-featured sales CRM for up to 10 users, which is explicitly targeted at startups but it’s also great for digital marketing agencies.

It’s really nice to have kind of that free setup for a smaller team, especially as you’re getting started and just needing the basics of a CRM.

The platform integrates:

  • Contact management
  • Marketing automation
  • Real-time alerts
  • Voiceover IP telephone

Including social suites and email and web tracking.

So, it has a decent amount of functionality, which would be really great for an agency.

A really cool feature that they have is that you can stick your upcoming appointment calendar online and Agile CRM will automate all of your upcoming voice calls and help you with all of the follow-ups.

So it’s much easier to manage a busy schedule as you would be in an agency.

Other nifty features are that you can easily attach documents to deals, companies, contacts, and emails in app, which can be very handy when managing specific users and really diving into a deeper look at each of those individual users as you mentioned through the life cycle.

Some of the drawbacks are the price increases dramatically as you upgrade between versions, which may cause a problem as your company scales, depending on the profitability.

And the second drawback is that there are not as many customization options as you might find with GoHighLevel.

Agile CRM Pricing

  • Free plan
  • Starter – $14.99/month
  • Regular – $49.99/month
  • Enterprise – $79.99/month
