Let’s say you’re in the fitness niche.
We’re going to search hashtag shorts+weight loss and that’s going to up all the short videos that are about weight loss and we’re going to see how many views these short videos are getting.

So, this is actually a niche that a lot of people are taking advantage of weight loss, because obviously there are a lot of people who want to lose weight and want to have healthy bodies.

2. Find a Video Idea
The second thing we need to do is find YouTube shorts ideas.
To do so you can search for a popular article in your niche that will give you content to create for this short video.
For this tutorial, I’m going to search for the best exercises at home.
then I can search for images on Google with all of these different exercises that I can use in my YouTube shorts video.
I can search for push-ups, burpees, mountain climbers, etc, and then download them but make sure to only use creative commons images to avoid YouTube copyright.
So with all of these exercise variations, I can make a YouTube short video that’s educational and people will want to watch it all the way through.
3. Make a YouTube Shorts Video
Once I’ve got the resources for my content, the next step is to make a YouTube shorts video.
And for this, we’ll use InVideo which is a free AI video maker that can generate a video with a few clicks of a button.
So get your InVideo free plan and once you log in, the first thing you need to do is to select a video format.
Select vertical (9:16) aspect ratio which is a YouTube shorts video format.
Then you can select a template. InVideo has over 5,000 pre-made beautiful templates in any niche.
So I can search for fitness and Invideo shows me lots of YouTube shorts templates perfect for my video.
After that, you can upload your images, drag them to the video editor or choose different images from the InVideo stock footage library.
Then you add different stickers and animations like zoom in and out. That’s going to make it pan out and look nice. Kind of like a video, even though it’s just an image.
You can also add text to your video to make it more engaging.
I can add a few scenes let’s say 5 seconds each clip so it’s 15-60 seconds long, which is the perfect length for a shorts video.
So all I had to do was drag and drop the images, add some text-click on the image and add a photo zoom effect on each one of them so it will look like a video.
So, we have a cool YouTube shorts video that’s educating people, which will encourage them to watch all the way through which is the whole point of the shorts.
Then we can download this video and upload it later onto our channel.
4. Monetize a Video
Now we have to monetize this video. One of the best ways to make money with YouTube shorts is with ads since Youtube funded $100M to reward content creators.
However, if you don’t meet Youtube monetization requirements which is 4000 hours watch time and 1000 subscribers, you’re not able to monetize these videos via Google AdSense.
But fortunately, this is not the only way to earn money with YouTube shorts.
So, what we can do here is to monetize via YouTube affiliate marketing.
You can go over to clickbank.com, which is an affiliate network with a bunch of different products you can promote.
Then I can search for “lose weight”, and they have multiple products in here related to losing weight, like this one -“Okinawa Flat Belly Tonic”.
It’s a $155 commission so for each person that purchases this product through your special link, you’re going to earn $155.
This is easily doable, especially if your shorts will get thousands of views or even hundreds of views, you can definitely make good money by simply promoting an affiliate product with your shorts.
So, click promote, grab your special link, and then we’re going to YouTube, upload the shorts video to your channel.

5. Upload a Video
To upload your YouTube shorts, go to the YouTube studio, click on “upload video” and upload the video you created in the previous step.
And first, you want to give it a title.
You can say “3 ways to burn belly fat”
Make sure to not forget to add hashtag shorts.
And then in the description, you can put, “get the secret blueprint for burn belly fat,” then put your affiliate link in there.
Whoever watches the video clicks on your affiliate link and purchases the product, you’re going to earn money.
