Voluum vs Clickmagick [2023] What is The Best Tracking Software?

If you’re in the business of affiliate marketing, tracking software is a very important piece of your business. Today, I’m going to be reviewing and comparing some of the best affiliate tracking tools; Voluum vs Clickmagick.

I’ll be going over a number of different factors as well as the cost of each of these tracking platforms.

Tracking your affiliate link is so important because it allows you to really get deep analytics into your data so you can optimize those marketing campaigns and make more money from whatever you’re promoting as an affiliate.

Now I’ve used these software tools personally and my success came about in large part to a Voluum.

When I started using a tracking tool in my affiliate marketing business, it took my game from making a few bucks here and there to making over 5 figure a month, and because of the extra layer of insights into my data and being able to split test ads and landing pages quicker and offers as well, allowed me to just optimize everything in my business very easily so that I could make more money.

And just to note this, first, I’ll be going over these couple of factors and then I’ll actually walk you through some of these things of these tools.

Voluum Overview

Voluum is the most tried-and-true affiliate tracking tool.

Voluum was created by Rob Gryn, a very successful affiliate marketer from Poland whose net worth is in the hundreds of millions of dollars. He created Voluum to help other affiliate marketers make more money and split test their stuff.

His stuff is highly recommended by top affiliate marketers in the world.

And I personally have been using this software for years and it’s very effective. 

And they have a lot of different stuff they can do:

And what’s cool about Voluum is that they’re directly integrated with two of their ad networks: their display side provider and also zero parks, which allows you to place ads on millions of websites worldwide, which makes it a really cool solution.

And it has all these deep integrations with advertising to help make it easier for you to do stuff.

They also offer a marketplace to find other affiliate offers that you’d like to promote easier. They also have their own app. So, they have a lot of stuff there, so even though it is the most expensive, you get a lot for your money.

ClickMagick Overview

Clickmagick is a very user-friendly affiliate tracking tool for marketers and this it’s has also been around for a number of years.

Thousands and thousands of affiliate marketers use this and you can sign up for a free trial.

Really good software used by some very successful marketers.

And what’s really great about ClickMagick is that they actually offer a lot of training.

As you can see they have six different modules:

• Conversion tracking basis
• Tracking affiliate sales
• Testing and optimization
• Bots and click fraud

So everything you need to know about how click tracking works and how you can get started with it.

In my opinion, Clickmagick doesn’t have as many functions or features as Voluum when it comes to affiliate tracking but it’s still a very effective option. I was pretty excited and it works amazingly because of their redirection list technology.

The fact that are no redirects makes it an amazing solution and I mean you can direct link affiliate offers through them. It just makes it really cool great option.

And if you go through these different training, you will have a pretty solid understanding of not just click tracking, but a better understanding of affiliate marketing as well.

Integrations

First thing I’m going to be looking at is actually the integrations.

Having your affiliate tracking tool integrated with the ad networks you’re working on or with affiliate networks, or just with other software tools that you might be using is a very helpful thing for whatever you’re doing.

Clickmagick Integrations

Clickmagick is a newer company on the market and doesn’t have any integrations yet.

So Voluum kind of wins on the integrations area.

Redirections

Google and Facebook hate redirections. It’s a sad reality, they don’t like it when you’re redirecting people to other websites. And that’s one of the reasons why affiliate marketing direct linking it’s hard, you can’t just place an affiliate link on

Facebook or in Google or in YouTube. They require you to just place whatever website your user is going to end up on. It doesn’t mean you have to redirect your user where that URL changes multiple times, is very important.

Voluum Redirections

So Voluum recently released this feature that you don’t have to have redirections. So, they get a check there. They’re doing good in that field.

Clickmagick has very cool proprietary technology they built out to make sure that you never have to have your link redirect so that the ad networks won’t flag your marketing as having redirects.

So, very interesting technology there.

Time in Business

Now the next category is time in business. And time in business is an important factor for me because it kind of tells me if that company or that software has been consistent over time.

So many companies come and go in the internet industry that it’s maddening and it’s also a big suck to have to constantly learn new software and constantly go around changes. That’s why time and business is a pretty important factor to know the longevity of whatever software tool you’re using.

Voluum Time in Business

Voluum gets a great mark, 5 years in business. They’ve been around a while and they are doing very well. I mean, Voluum is the top dog in the affiliate tracking space.

They’re the number one used click tracking tool and it’s for a reason. They do a pretty good job with a lot of stuff and they’ve been around for a while.

Clickmagic Time in Business

Clickmagick has been around for a while and you see they’ve been around for 4 years so they’ve worked out a lot of the tweaks and all that stuff in their platform and runs very consistently so that’s good to know.

Pricing

Now for the last factor is price, I’m going to go over the cost of each of these programs. And all of these costs are going to be monthly.

Voluum Pricing

Voluum offers 4 pricing options:

And $69 per month is just the starting package and at that price, it makes it the most expensive affiliate tracking software.

But again, they score well on the other items that’s why they can charge so much.

It will be the more expensive software that you will be purchasing if you go for Voluum.

Clickmagic Pricing

Their monthly billing is $37 a month for the lowest plan, so you don’t have to spend too much money to get started with them. The plans go up to a $197 a month which isn’t that bad compared to Voluum pricing.

In the pricing category, Clickmagick scores pretty good as well, their cost is $37 a month so they score very well in that category as well.

They make their cost really competitive and that’s how they compete. And that coupled with their proprietary redirection list technology makes them a really good choice.

Voluum vs Clickmagick Verdict

So what is the best affiliate tracking software for you?

Clickmagick is Best For:

You probably want to go with Clickmagick if you want overall more features and if you want the best price option as an overall cost less compared to Voluum.

Also, you want to be able to track any type of product, offer and service, and affiliate marketing links. Really depends on what you want to do but in terms of Clickmagick does more in my opinion.

Those are the big reasons why you might want to use Clickmagick.

Then on the other hand we have Voluum.

Voluum is Best For:

The reasons why you might use Voluum include that you want exclusively want tracking software for affiliate marketing. They do really well when it comes to affiliate tracking. Clickmagick is a little bit better when it comes to being able to track much more than that.

So if you want to track just affiliate marketing campaigns, Voolum might be the best option for you.

Also, you want to use Voluum if you have more experience when it comes to running ad campaigns. Given the fact that is a little bit pricer, probably is not going to be the best option for newbies.

So, those are the biggest differences when it comes to Voluum vs Clickmagick.
