In this Postaga review, we’re going to go over this new all-in-one outreach tool for getting backlinks for your website. I’m going to share with you what I like about this tool, what I don’t like, and at the end, you’ll find out who it’s most suited for.
Postaga is one of the best AI SEO tools for link building that helps you find backlink opportunities, create personalized outreach, schedule email campaigns, and build relationships with other webmasters.
Normally when it comes to link building outreach, you need lots of different tools to do this. You need prospecting tools like hunter.io to find email addresses, Ahrefs to do the prospects, and then Mailshake to send the outreach emails.
Whereas Postaga allows you to do all of these things from one place. And that’s exactly what I’m going to show you right now.
So, let’s jump in.
In this Postaga review and a full tutorial, I’m going to show you how to set up your link building campaign from start to finish. So if you want to work along with me, you can start your Postaga 14-day free trial (no credit card is required)

Postaga Setting Up Link Building Campaign
Let’s get started on creating a new campaign. And actually, what I like about Postaga is it’s pretty easy to set up. So, what you can do is click on a new campaign.
Then they will ask me if I need help and because I know the type of link building I want to do for my post, I’m going to click “no”.
But what you can do is click “yes,” normally, and then you can choose what type of resource you want to promote.
So then you can select the type of outreach campaign. It’ll automatically select the best type of link building campaign for you including:
- Offer expertise
But I already know the type of link I want to do so we’re going to do some resource link building, which is basically where you start building links via the resources page to your blog.
And what I like about all the different types of campaigns is that you get an in-depth explainer.
You can click the arrow down and you’ll get loads of different types of link building outreach that you can actually do.
So that’s quite a useful feature.
Once you select the type of campaign, then we can paste the URL, click analyze post and it will break down the details of the post.
We’re we get things like post title, keywords, category, and author name.
You can also put in custom merge fields data.
These are extra bits of data about your posts that you can put in into your email copy when it comes to promoting. And we’ll come onto that soon.
So, it’s all pretty basic and easy to set up.
From here, you can start prospecting for your campaign.
Postaga Finding Link Opportunities
Now the AI will find resource pages that potentially you could get a link from.
So first, you can choose which date you set those up from and a location.
So, if you want to build links from local pages, then you could choose a custom location. But for this example, we’re just going to choose the default location and any sort of resource type.
Then, you can type in the keywords that you want to find resource pages.
And then what this is going to do is pull in the prospects for you.
Now, usually, if you’re prospecting on Ahrefs, it can be really time-consuming.
You can take an hour or two just to find relevant prospects, and sometimes it’s quite difficult to find.
So, what I like about this is that it just does all the thinking for you. And if you’re not very experienced with linking an outreach, then you can just use it like this, and it’s a lot quicker.
So from here, we have a bunch of resources that I could approach.
These are all websites that I could approach to get a link to my page.
It takes a little bit of time to load, but that’s simply because it’s got to analyze a lot of different data on the internet and then pull out the relevant results to your site and to the blog that you want to promote.
And I can select all of them.
So, what we can do is select all of these websites and if there are any pages that you don’t want to approach, you can simply unselect them.
And then when you’re ready to go onto the next step, click “Analyze Links”.
Postaga Finding Contacts
And from here, Postaga is going to prospect relevant contacts that you can approach for a link.
So, you can add names if you want to find a specific person, but basically, these are all the contacts that you can approach to get a link to your site.
And now what you can do is click on “Get Contacts”, and this will find all the people that you can contact for a link to your site.
So basically, Postaga has analyzed all the links that are relevant, and now it’s pulling the contacts from each of those sites.
Now, one useful feature from finding the contacts is that you can select different contacts.
So, if you don’t want to contact a certain person or you think someone else is more relevant, then you can choose that on Postaga.
And it will give a score of the deliverability rating for each contact.
You can also choose; do you want to contact someone else instead? Or do you want to contact multiple people from the same website, just in case someone doesn’t reply?
But really what you want to do ideally is go for each contact and find the most relevant one to you.
Postaga Email Sequence
Now we’re going to go onto the email sequence where essentially, you get a list of pre-written funnels.
You can send the email for your resources page, wait 3 days, and then send another email.
What’s great, the Postaga AI outreach assistant finds relevant advice given by influencers that you can include in your emails which is the same you can find in SmartWriter, which I found to be one of the best AI outreach software in the market.
But anyway, once you set up your outreach email sequence you can preview the emails.
So you get a breakdown of what the copy will look like for that particular website.
The copy is not bad, kind of like in some of the other AI SEO tools like INK.
You can see that the details of the post have already been set including their website, my website, the name of the post, super easy to set up.
And what you can do is add custom merge data. And basically, it just saves you a lot of time.
Now what I like is that normally when you’re writing an email, it can take 30 minutes to write something decent.
But this is all pre-written for you, and then you can just edit certain bits to make it more unique.
Once you are done you can send the test if you want.
Postaga Rules & Scheduling
Next, we’ve got the rules and scheduling where you can basically choose when you want to send the campaign.
You could launch it right now if you want, or you can schedule it for a certain date.
You can choose whether you want to use the testing mode or not so, if you’re not confident with the software and you just want to test out and see what it’s like, then you can choose a testing mode.
And then also you can choose, “do you want to send on weekends or not”
Then we have thread messages so, do you want to keep all of your emails in the same thread or do you want to send them across different threads.
But I’d say is to stick with the default simply because if you send loads of different emails from different threads, then it’s going to get a bit messy and you could annoy that person you’re contacting.
So it’s better to keep it all in one email thread when the person receives it.
And if you want to monitor your email deliverability, you can use tools like Diib, which is a really cool SEO automation tool that also scans over 50 blacklists to make sure your emails are actually getting delivered.
And finally, we just click schedule and once that’s completed, our campaign will start sending. It’s going to look something like this.
You can see all your campaigns, you can see the name, when it started, the type of link building you’re doing, the status, and how many emails you’ve lined up versus how many replied and how many actually failed to send.
Then you can pause it if you need to or delete the campaign.
Postaga offers 2 pricing plans:
- Pro – $99/month
- Agency – $299/month
It’s worth mentioning that all Postaga plans start on a 14-day free trial so you can test it out and see how it works for your link building campaigns without paying anything.
Postaga Review Final Words
So, that’s my Postaga review. As you can see, it’s quite easy to set up a campaign using this tool. Most of the hard work is done for you so that saves you a lot of time.
And the fact it’s all in one means that potentially you could save a lot of money using this. So, it’s a really good tool, especially if you’re a beginner to link building outreach.
What I would say, if you’ve got a massive agency, maybe Postaga isn’t the best software for you simply because you need to send thousands of emails, and running a campaign with only 20-50 contacts might not be the best for you.
However, if you’ve got a small campaign running just for your website, if you’ve got a small scale campaign, then Postaga, potentially it’s going to save you a lot of time and money too because you don’t need to pay for separate tools.
You can just run one campaign from Postaga directly.
