Copysmith Review [2021] How It Compares With Other AI Copywriting Tools?

We’ll talk about pricing, how it works compared to other AI copywriting tools and lastly, I’ll give you my personal opinion about Copysmith, so you can decide if it’s right for you.

So let’s dive right in.

What is Copysmith?

Copysmith is a platform that uses state-of-the-art machine learning to help you write high-performing copy. It’s tailor-made for entrepreneurs, marketing agencies, anyone in e-commerce, and of course copywriters.

The story about how Copysmith came about is an interesting one, as well as a background of his founder and CEO, Jasmine Wang.

Let’s just say the technology Copysmith brings to the table is next-gen stuff.

Copysmith uses GPT-3 which stands for generative, pre-trained transformer which is considered as one of the most interesting and important AI systems ever produced.

Copysmith Tools, Features & How To Use It

Nw, we’ll be going over some basic guidelines on how to effectively use Copysmith.ai software so you can generate content exponentially faster and easier.

Once you log into your account you’ll be directed to your main dashboard.

This is what you’re going to see when you first log into Copysmith.

This is where you can create folders, access templates, and see your generations you can bookmark some important files to easily identify them or you can search for a specific template through the filter option.

Now, let me walk you through some of the areas within here.

Folders

On the main dashboard, similarly to other AI copywriting software, Anyword you can create folders.

To start off create a new folder and fill in some information about your company.

Folders allow you to organize your files and save time by pre-filling some of your input fields.

You can either manually type in the information or enter your website and let the Copysmith system scrape the data then edit it afterward.

This is going to help you stay organized so you can create a new folder and I’m going to call this folder the “Top Affiliate Training” because I’m going to be doing examples using the course that I promote.

And, when you create your folder, they’re going to walk you through a setup guide.

So, in this step right here, it says, “fill out as much information or as little information below to auto-generate files and auto-populate the field.”

So, I filled out some information and it’ll take that information and it’ll bring it into these different types of templates depending on what I use.

They have over 30 templates to choose from and they’re constantly adding new ones every week, which is cool.

You can find templates such as:

• Product description
• Blog ideas
• Blog outline
• Content expander
• Content rewriter
• Google ad
• Facebook as

And many more.

These templates allow you to create copy for different content types but the quality is not as high as in other tools such as LongShot AI.

To get started, all you have to do is simply select the template you’d like to use.

Every template will look slightly different from one another so if you need some help entering the appropriate information click “See Examples” to view a sample generation and input fields.

The templates are organized in different sections and there is a short description under each template if you’re not sure what it is about.

You can also name your file so you can easily find them later

So, in this case, I’m going to be creating a copy for my course so definitely want to have a product description in there.

And I want to do something for the Facebook ad.

We’ll stick with product descriptions and Facebook ads for now.

And next, you are going to fill out as much or a little below to auto-generate files and auto-populate fields again.

This is optional if you want to.

So, what I’m going to do is I’m going to just input some information.

Now, this is when it’s going to create the different types of files for size as you saw previously, we selected product description and Facebook ads template.

And if I select the folder and you see the files have already been created.

So, here’s a Product Description and Facebook ads.

Now, I want to show you how to create a product description and Facebooks ads with Copysmith.

Copysmith Product Description

First, let’s go ahead and check out the product description.

Now in here, you need to provide information such as:

• Tone
• Company Name
• Product Name
• Product Characteristics
• Brand Keywords
• Keywords to Avoid

The ones that have the little red asterisk you need to fill those out.

So, I’m going to go ahead and fill this out

In terms of product characteristics, when you hover over the button, it says we recommend 2-8 characteristics. You can also include pain points your product solves.

So, you can have up to eight of these or they recommend up to 8.

Now, brand keywords, it says “we recommend 1-3 keywords, for example, luxurious, natural, high quality.”

And then keywords to avoid, I don’t have any off the top of my head but just to throw it in there, let’s go with… Keywords to avoid, let’s put expensive.

Now, when you are ready, you are going to generate the copy and it uses a credit so down here it says:

“This generation uses 1 credit and generates 5-15 pieces of new content. All content is saved by default so the first set is imperfect, try again.”

So right now, you’ll see 20 credits are left this month. When you generate your first copy, it’ll drop down to 19.

Now, if you sign up for the free trial you will get 10 credits.

So, I suggest that you sign up for the free trial first, give it a goal, see how it works if you like it and if you like it then definitely go for one of their promotions that I’m going to be talking about a little bit later in this review.

So, let’s go ahead and generate our copy and see what we come up with.

Excellent.

That’s cool.

Definitely, this software is more creative than me…

And if you want to edit some part that you don’t like all you have to do to edit is just click anywhere in that description and then you can edit to your heart’s content and then save your edit.

Now you can copy this text if you want you to your clipboard, you can favorite this or heart it or like it or you can delete it if you want to. If you want more copy like this, then you can select the “More Like This” button.

And it says, “once this output is satisfactory, click this button to generate variants. It’s free.”

And their model is able to learn from your preferences over time so the more you interact with the software by editing, marking, or deleting the better your outputs will be in the future.

So, what I’m going to do is I’m going to just click on this more like this because I want you guys to see what kinds of variations it comes up with and we’ll just take a look at a couple of them.

So very close but you can see that the variants are also really cool.

It’s so easy for me now to go in, change a couple of words here or there, and I’ll have exclusive or very different unique content.

Now, when you have chosen the ones that you like, what I can do right now is I can share the ones that I like. I can share them with a team or with my clients.

You can copy the URL up and you can share that and they’ll have access to this.

You can see the ones that I’ve bookmarked.

And people can go through and they can upvote or downvote the ones that they like or dislike.

So, this is a great way to get feedback from your team, from your colleagues, from your clients.

In general, just reading a text, it’s amazing that the sentences are complete, they make sense and it just going to take a little bit of tweaking, just very minor tweaks in order for me to get the kind of copy that I want.

And that’s the beauty of Copysmith AI is so good that it can create this unique copy for me and give me ideas so that I can create multiple variants.

If you are an agency, this is excellent for you. You can create different variations of copy and present that to your client. If you are a solopreneur like myself, sometimes sitting in front of a computer and trying to create a copy is very, very difficult.

All you have to do is enter in some characteristics, some keywords, keywords to avoid and allow Copysmith to do the heavy lifting for you.

Now, is it going to always be perfect?

Absolutely not.

Nothing is going to be perfect.

They are constantly working on their platform and it’s only going to improve as the days, weeks, months, years go on. So, this product shows a lot of promise and I’m very, very impressed at the moment.

So that was the product description and let’s go ahead and run through the Facebook ad very quickly.

Copysmith Facebook Ad

So, let’s generate a Facebook ad copy, and let’s take a look at the results.

That’s also not bad.

So in terms of the copy that it brings up, pretty good.

And the first one was the one that I really liked. So, let’s go ahead and generate more like this and let’s see what it comes up with.

So, as you can see pretty much the same, but this is because I’ve provided only 1 keyword, which was “affiliate marketing training”

And I didn’t really use a template per se, it really generated this unique content based on the information that I provided it with.

So, the more information you can provide, the better results you’re going to get. So that is how you use Copysmith AI is very easy to use.

Copysmith Landing Pages

The coolest application that I’ve seen so far from Copysmith is landing pages.

So this feature can actually create a landing page for you and the reason why it caught my attention isn’t because the copy of the landing page is perfect but it actually creates a visual model for you as well.

So if you head over to landing pages.

And from here you’ll need to provide information like in case of product description and Facebook ad; Company Name, Tone or Product Keywords and Description.

Once your provide your details, it takes 15 seconds because they send an API request and then they receive an answer.

so you could see the landing page creation and it just visualizes it for you which is pretty cool as well.

Of course, the images aren’t like entirely relevant because what do sacks of rice have to do with affiliate marketing business?

But that as a brainstorming tool it’s very cool and I mean you can see the results.

Copysmith Blog

Now, I’ll be going over how to streamline your blog post writing process using the tools available at Copysmith.

To start off you can go into the blog ideas template and type in your target keywords this is essentially what your blog post is going to be about.

Once you click generate there will be around 20 different outputs to choose from each including a blog title and a short introduction paragraph.

After choosing your favorite output copy and paste it into the blog outline template.

This template gives you different ways to structure your blog post with sections and subsections so you can generate a more detailed and organized blog post article later.

After choosing your favorite outline go into the blog post template and paste the blog post title, example paragraph, and subsections into the input field as well as a few keywords for your blog posts.

You can also add a target audience and a company name.

But I will say the most important field is the example paragraph because this is what the tone and quality of your output will be based on.

Make sure it is well written and includes keywords that you want to see in your blog post article.

if you need some help writing your example paragraph you could go into the blog intro template and enter your blog post title to receive about 10 different introduction paragraphs to choose from.

You can select a few that you like combine them together and edit them to get an elaborate paragraph that includes your keywords and meets the minimum character’s requirement.

Make sure every input field looks good then click generate and voila here are your blog post articles.

They have also integrated their popular content rewriter and bullet point expander template into the blog post template where you can highlight a sentence or a paragraph and expand it to get a longer version of this sentence if you want to lengthen your blog post.

And there you have it. Your blog post is ready to be exported.

Copysmith AIDA

Before we wrap this thing up I do want to go ahead and test out the AIDA format because we did that in other reviews that way we can see very clearly how things compare here.

So I’m going to go ahead and add a new file and let’s generate the AIDA framework.

So here for my inputs, it’s simply asking for the company name and the company description rather than the company name.

I’m going to go ahead and give it the product name and I’ll paste in my description that I used in the previous reviews and let’s generate.

So in the Copy AI review pointed out how the attention sections of each one of their outputs were not very clear, it was more like a blog intro.

So these are looking much more like an actual headline.

And here are the outputs.

So attention: “learn how to build a business with the expert advice you need to succeed”

That’s pretty good attention.

Next, “we make it easy to learn how to use tools like Shopify WordPress and Pinterest”

Pretty good not great but not terrible.

There’s one up I liked it was this one right here “get the full picture of each tool before you invest your time, money, and effort into a business opportunity”

So I think I could definitely work with that and finesse it into something that’s kind of eye-catching.

But overall these are looking pretty good for attention.

Let’s look at the calls to action

 so overall the outputs here I’d say are definitely far and above what I saw inside of other AI copywriting software.

Now, let’s go ahead with some pros and cons.

Copysmith Pros

I really like the user interface I like how they gave a lot of demonstrations for what you could expect before something happened because there are so many options you’re probably never going to run through all of the templates they give you.

It’s nice to see kind of what you expect especially if you’re on that lower plan and you’re actually getting build per word that gets output or how many credits you use so that was really nice to see.

I also love the fact that they’ve got that one-two-three-step article generator. think if they can refine the output a little bit more and let me work with AI inside of the article generator so that I could maybe direct it with where I’d like the article to go that could be super amazing as well.

Copysmith Cons

The only drawback may be the number of generations per month you have. But to me, that’s a minor inconvenience compared to what you get in return.

There are many AI copywriting software available in the market like:

And many more.

The technology behind it, GPT-3, is amazing. And for those of you who were reading my reviews of other copywriting tools, this isn’t the best copywriting software that I’ve evaluated in the past.

Overall I feel like this is a beneficial tool, it definitely can benefit a wide variety such as content writers, digital marketers, etc but I’ve seen better tools such as Jarvis which I personally use and the copy is much higher quality.

But it does go based on preference.
